How has the summer gone for you and the group in trying to get everybody on the same page with freshman transfers, returners, all of that?

Well, I thought it started in the postseason.

I thought our postseason was really, really critical for our returners, I thought.

Tori McKinney, Mara Braun, Grace Grohowski in particular.

Their postseason, their games in their postseason really grew.

And then recruiting, right, during that stretch.

We had our freshmen signed at that point in time, but our coaches really had to get into the portal and added some great pieces to our puzzle.

Maybe last summer we didn't work on this, but this summer we did, or this fall as we get ready for games.

So how do you keep those in line, but also, as you say, work on this particular team needs this? Maybe last summer we didn't work on this, but this summer we did, or this fall as we get ready for games.

Well, I think it's, it's interesting, because our pillars are our toughness, you know, and toughness for us, our, our defense, our finishing plays, you know, but also taking care of the ball, doing little things well, sharing the ball.

This is a group that shares the ball at a really high level.

They're a group that has to learn how to finish plays at the highest level, but we're getting better at doing those things.

Uh, there's our togetherness.

That's really, really important.
