And what, in your view, makes a hotel genuinely Italian?

Well, that's a very, like, you know, it's an interesting question.

It's also a difficult question.

Um, I think that there is something to be said about where is Italy today and, um, also the generational change in Italy.

If you would go to Italy, um, let's say 20, 30 years, um, back, you would, um, meet very, you know, stylish population.

Always, always been.

Um- How, uh, can architecture protect a local identity of a town or a community that you work in?

I'm curious why you haven't set up your own management business or maybe acquired one, given the scale and the resources that you already have in your portfolio.

We were negotiating with one brand that I am not allowed to mention, let's say, to buy.

And they were bought later on by one of the big operators.

And we were almost doing it.

I think, you know, I've moved back because I got to a point that I wasn't sure how much I can work with the founder there together and put myself into the brand and what he's doing.
