He says before construction began on this center in 1999, the school district had no auditorium of any kind.

So we wanted to build a first class facility for school use.

But we also had this vision of bringing in professional entertainment.

So we wanted to build it as what's called a roadhouse, which simply means a facility that can accommodate any kind of professional entertainment that's out there on the road.

The majority of school administrators

do not come out of the art world, and they don't understand the importance of that.

They're not malicious, they just don't understand.

My philosophy Our philosophy, my predecessor's philosophy, has always been no two students have the exact same abilities or interests.

Um, but can you share a little bit of what it's been like to be a support for your community and the people around you that have been in these polygamous groups?

I've been around it my whole life, and I've watched.

And the group that I was around with, the men, all the kids worked hard and gave it all to the men.

And so I seen it.

Even after they were married, they still were given money.

To watch them go through that is just crazy.

And to see it... unfold with Christine and, and hearing her story and hearing everybody else's story.
