Patricia MurphyHOST
So, David, when we look at a proposal from Rick Jackson to cut in half the state income tax or even something from Keish Lance Bottoms to eliminate income taxes for teachers, I'm not saying it can't happen, but what kind of tradeoffs, especially for the Rick Jackson proposal, what kind of tradeoffs would you be looking at or expect in a state budget if we're talking about cutting the income tax in half?

David WickertGUEST
And in fact, we looked at... what states that don't have income taxes, how do they pay for their services? And they rely far more than Georgia on sales taxes.

David WickertGUEST
Now, when the State Senate rolled out its plans earlier this year to phase out or begin to phase out the income tax, they said, no, we're not proposing to raise the sales tax.

Patricia MurphyHOST
What are you looking at from these two candidates? What distinguishes them from each other other than just their party identification?
