Like, I mean, where did the impetus for it come from? And I know there's another five years to go.

That's right.

Well, the impetus started with dear friends of mine from the Megaphone Project, Tim Humphrey and Madeleine Flynn.

They had the, they came up with the idea of what would it be like if there was an artist down at Fusquay Station for 15 years instead of a large sculpture? What would it be like if the artwork was a person? And the interesting thing about that, we really couldn't imagine what that would be like.

And so we put in an application to actually do that, to have me down there as an artist for 15 years and to really find out what that was like.

An artist that can respond to the changes in Footscray, an artist that can get really familiar with a particular location, an artist that can reimagine Footscray Station as a venue, which it is in the fringe, it's a venue.

And as a performance space, it's got enormous amounts of audience that come and go very quickly, some that stay for a while.
