It's a term you hear, but what the heck is it? You want me to go, Tina?
26:32
Basically, emotional intelligence is understanding how to read people, read the room, read energy.
26:41
In some examples, it's like figuring out what's going on inside your own head So then you can get out of your own way and focus on your work, focus on your client, what your client needs, and then move on and start to understand in the bigger picture of how does your client's issue relate to a larger issue, like for me as an in-house lawyer.
27:07
Who are my business people within the context of my company? Who are the decision makers? Who has a stake in the outcome? And it could be things like understanding what is my client or my partner or my boss actually asking me? Are they asking me for legal advice or are they really just looking for advice? somebody to talk to and some emotional support or some a boost of confidence or some you know things like that that's not just simply raw uh knowledge intelligence but it's more of reading people all
29:29
Why? Yeah.
29:31
Well, for several reasons.
29:33
You know, sort of tagging on to what Tina was saying, AI can give you information, but it can't read the room.
29:42
It can't tell when the energy in a room shifts.
