So why is that balance so difficult with, let's say, the traditional processes?

That's a, a really good question.

I mean, any time you have really complex processes with, you know, hundreds of thousands of moving parts, by nature, it's gonna get difficult to find a balance.

Um, traditionally, you know, customs was one of those industries that it was all paper-based.

Uh, literally people running around with clipboards, um, in ports trying to find the container that they're supposed to be looking at.

I mean, if you, if you can imagine, uh, up until 10 years ago, that, that's really how it was.

And it is, it is still that way in some parts of the world.

back down the chain, how's it speeding up operations elsewhere?

Well, you know, it's an interesting question.

I think that if traditionally supply chain was this convoluted kind of thing that nobody really understands, there's not really any standardization, right? Everybody's speaking different languages.

I mean, we've both been there.

We know how it is.

There's two interesting things that are happening.

Customs agencies and governments are telling the supply chain actors, hey, guys, get your game on.

I'm just talking about, I'm trying to get a picture of the flow through.
