So,
12:12
yeah, way back, oh, I don't know, 2010 or so, a lovely gentleman, R&A member and former editor of Golf Monthly, retired many years ago, Malcolm Campbell.
12:23
He lives about a mile and a half or so from our property.
12:27
He saw the land, as he describes it, unfettered length, pure sand, lovely undulations, you know, old dunes there for thousands of years ago, and And he thought it'd be a perfect golf course to create a high-quality links.
12:43
And so he got in touch with Clive Clark.
12:46
For your listeners and viewers, Clive Clark is a past Ryder Cup player, played way back in 1973, Englishman.
12:54
Went over to the U.S. around 30 years ago and built a lot of great golf courses out in the U.S. based in Palm Springs.

Where do you really see this on display where you've got choices to be made out there?
36:15
How did you, how did you get going?
36:18
Yeah, um, well, gee, was, okay, yeah, born and brought up in St. Andrews.
36:22
I stayed in Hope Street, which is only a wedge from the Dunvegan and a 7-iron from the 18th of the Old Course.
36:29
So I would, uh-I started playing when I guess it was four or five.
36:33
My father was a good player.
36:34
He was like a two or three handicapper and won the St Andrews Golf Club Championship.
36:38
That was his claim to fame, which was no mean feat way back then because that's the hardest golf club or the most active membership there.
