You know, from a theory perspective, I would say find the joy in it.

If you're... breaking rocks in the sun, if that is what theory feels like to you, then we're off to a bad start.

I would get the kids down, go downstairs, lo-fi, hip-hop, almost trance beats, block my phone, and study.

And I would find the joy in learning new things about this region.

And the timer would go off after two hours, and I'd look up and think, oh man, I want to keep going.

You know, if you don't have that joy and that curiosity, then it's going to be challenging.
