9:44
Okay.
9:44
Somewhere in there.
9:45
And so yeah, they had that on our coffee table.
9:48
Like, and I was always writing.
9:50
I got really bored my freshman year of college, and I wrote a horror novel while I was just, like, hanging out late at night.
9:58
And then eventually in school realized, oh, that there's something called screenwriting.
10:03
Oh, I should, I like movies and TV.

28 MINS LATER

37:49
[laughs] Next question is what would you say the hardest lesson in your life has been so far that you've had to learn?
MitchHOST
69:26
To you, someone who was on the ground there, I'm not asking you to speak on behalf of the church, but how'd you find out and what was it like
69:34
there? I was actually at home that day in my own barbecue shack doing stuff.
69:42
And I heard all the fire trucks.
69:44
Okay, that just goes into the background.
69:47
But I saw the column of smoke from our backyard in Minster.
69:51
And within 15 minutes or so, I got a phone call from my director saying, hey, how close is Maria Stein to you? I said, 10 minutes up the street, why? They've got a major fire.
70:05
Can you go? Absolutely.
MitchHOST
75:03
How do you sit with it?
31:47
Why is that?
31:49
Well, because scammers use crypto because it's quick, it's irreversible, it's hard to trace, and it happens so quickly.
31:57
So, I mean, recovery with crypto scams is complicated.
32:01
Certainly if it happened, you should talk to a professional who has experience doing this.
32:04
But my number one message to your audience is to be careful, not become a victim in the first place.
32:10
There are so many AI deep fake athlete endorsements, celebrity endorsements, selling promotions and giveaways.
32:19
There's a reported site, it's an actual site that the fraudsters, this is an international crimes thing that has happened all over the world where they have taken, they've copied the FIFA website and made it a nearly identical replica.
34:25
What kind of success stories do you have, perhaps, on this front in terms of seeing people come through and achieve justice?
27:12
I want to go back to the other question, which is once I get certified, then what? I mean, what is the, is there a continuous certification process? How should customers think about this?
27:22
Yeah, so first, when you get certified, you get a 100-page audit report that describes everything that you're doing to make your AI agent secure.
27:30
That includes the result of the test that we've been running on the agent.
27:33
And this report is something that is typically produced downstream to customers, stakeholders, as a way to signal trust and explain what you're doing.
27:43
We then rerun our technical test every quarter to make sure to catch any evolution in the product or in the underlying foundation models.
27:52
And we'll just append the most recent results to the certification report that you have.
27:57
And every year you need to renew this certification.
31:55
But how do you test for things like security and data leak? Because that is very something very specific to the company and its context, right? How are you going about, are your end users equipped to make changes to these prompts? Are these prompts publicly published? How am I going to tweak this to my context?
8:49
Yeah.
8:50
It, uh, it's a new product launch.
8:51
It's new leadership.
8:53
It's mergers, acquisitions.
8:56
It's societal change, the way customers buy.
9:00
It's, um, environmental, whether it's environmental or AI or technology.
9:06
There's some outs- there's some catalyst that, um, they, they reach a point where the, the more successful ones realize that they're at tha- at that inflection point and do something about it, and some unfortunately wait until they're in a lot of pain, and there's just total misalignment.

43 MINS LATER

52:18
If a founder listening today, you know, feels stuck between the old version of their company and what's coming next, and trying to figure out how to evolve as opposed to be a revolutionary, w- where do they begin?
8:48
Hmm.
8:49
So if you could fi- if you were a, if you were enterprising, an entrepreneur, and you had a technology that could bring that marketplace together maybe a little more efficiently, right? You could sort of fly under the radar for a little bit.
9:05
'Cause Trade Desk is by far, you know, a, a, a huge player in this space of bringing ad and a, a, v- using technology to bring ad buyers and ad sellers together.
9:17
So maybe there's, you know, maybe from a disruption standpoint it, you know, uh, uh, you could disrupt and without sort of being noticed, and then next thing you know you have a better mousetrap and you're really pulling, you know, customers away from the current leader.
9:31
And but Trade Desk is not resting on its laurels, let's, let's put it that way.

9 MINS LATER

18:57
Yep.
18:57
So you're not alone.
19:00
The second thing is to remember, and I'm pretty sure this is a Buffett quote, you are not right or wrong because the market agrees with you.
