So the Biden administration gets superlative marks for its handling of the writer reporters to keep sources anonymous.

They essentially just say we're not going to do that anymore.

And I wonder how you see it.

Um, is there more cause for concern, for alarm now, and w- where do you, where do you sort of stand and see the issue at the moment?

Well, you know, a, a lawyer friend described my book as a, as a beach rai- as a beach read for lawyers, uh, which probably doesn't say much for lawyers.

Uh, but, [laughs] it, it had a, a pretty upbeat tone despite everything that was going on.

I'm not sure I'd be able to pull that off this time.

Um, a- and I, I felt that in, in the first administration-The, the guardrails were a little wobbly, but they remained in place.

I'm not sure those guardrails are there anymore.

Um, and, and Beck really highlighted a lot of this.

But is there anything for David and Beck, is there anything that you thought might come to pass that hasn't, whether it's libel cases or things like that? And then, um, to follow up from that, where do you see the trends going just looking a little bit down the road? David, if you wanna start us.
