It's easy to say, you know, positive and profound things, but you've got to be able to deliver on them.

And as Lizzie outlined in the conference, her and her husband, Dennis, they've been on a long journey from, you know, being in the mongrel mob for 30 plus years.

And Lizzie is very aware through her opportunities in Wesley Community Action of all the training and resources that whānau members in those communities don't access.

So a real passion of her is to take all that skills and knowledge that she's gained and to make it accessible in a format and language that other people can digest.

So she's developed a thing called Bro Talk, which is sort of like a half-day wānanga That's really a mix of neuroscience, psychology, and all wrapped up in club language to help people understand how their brain works and often why they respond the way that they do.
