And did you, did you remember feeling, uh, a, a difference, as in a difference from an enjoyment perspective, between television and radio? Was there one that you've really preferred throughout your career?
12:16
career?Well, radio was my first love because I was part of the radio generation.
12:21
My, my family didn't have a TV in the, in the s- in the ...
12:25
Funnily enough, I live now back on the farm that I grew up on.
12:30
I gre- I grew up on a, my ...
12:31
I was evacuated during the war to my grandparents' farm in Sussex.
12:37
And, um, about 20 years ago, I was doing a show in Dubai, and one of the, uh, bands on there was Marmalade, the first Scottish band to have a UK number one.

39:50
Is that kind of the way you look at the hit that you got there in the fifth on the ground ball?
39:54
For sure.
39:55
Um, you know, I'm just, I'm always trying to get on base, and, uh, when I get on base, uh, you know, try and advance to the next one and, you know, um, get myself in a good spot for the guy at the plate.
40:06
Um, yeah, I think that was, that was good at that time.
Josh Maurer
Josh MaurerCORRESPONDENT
40:39
How good did Kyle look for you for those first five innings when you played behind him?
40:42
Yeah, he was lights out.
40:43
Um, a lot of swing and miss.
40:45
Hitters didn't look comfortable in the box.
6:28
What can we learn from BDCs about private credit risk?
6:33
It's one of those, uh, parts of the market that really allow for some clear visibility into what's going on in private credit, which is, as we said before, in many pockets, very opaque.
6:44
So I'll just give you an example.
6:46
Some of the Moody's Analytics data that we look at, we have looked at a set of, uh, BDCs, and we sort of scored them with our, uh, credit risk models, and the difference from looking at it from that perspective is that these models are very point-in-time oriented.
7:01
So they're es- essentially reflecting kind of the sentiment as reflected now, what investors are concerned about, and we talked about this a little bit a moment ago, but what we see is that on average across BDCs is that the, these credit risk measures have deteriorated somewhat relative to, let's say, a benchmark set of, let's say, Baa-rated corporates.
7:24
And it's not d- dramatic.
7:26
If you go back and compare to what we see now to 2022 when we saw another widening, it's nowhere near that, right? So it's reflecting, as I said before, this emerging concern, generalized concern about credit risk, which is fueled by opacity, but it's showing you that these concerns are definitely showing up in or manifesting themselves in these credit risk measures, but, uh, has not, certainly not reached, uh, I would say, anything near crisis levels.
11:33
What about you, David?
3:10
Mm-hmm.
3:10
Um, my parents, my grandparents, they weren't officers, but, uh, but they w- they are attenders and soldiers of the Salvation Army.
3:17
So, um, I knew and the Holy Spirit convicted me when I was a junior soldier, um, of my promise.
3:24
[laughs] When temptation came, it's like, like, "Well, no, I can't do that.
3:28
I made this promise to God."
4:42
Mm-hmm
4:43
... and to be a lay leader within the Salvation Army early on when I was, you know, younger, and, uh, I followed, um, that calling.
4:49
Um, but it wasn't till maybe a little less than five years ago, um...

30:11
Man, when you fall behind two-nothing in the top of the second inning, you figure, all right, this m- game might be a grind, but then to score 16 unanswered runs tonight, how did that feel to be a part of this game?
30:23
game?Um, yeah, I mean, it was, it was fun.
30:26
Uh, you know, we got down 2-0, and I mean, I feel like, you know, you gotta score runs anyway to win the game, so, you know, nothing really changes for us, you know? Um, had that good, what was it, the second, third inning, and, uh, just kept that momentum rolling.
speaker_5UNKNOWN
31:03
Tell us about how hard you've worked on it, if you would, and, and how that's changed the way that your offensive game has, has kind of played its way out.
31:11
Yeah.
31:12
It, uh, it started in spring, um, just talking to Murph.
31:15
Um, you know, he wanted me to get on base as, as much as I could and, you know, um, I think bunting is a way to do that.
31:23
Uh, you know, I got good speed.
3:27
Yes.
3:28
And so my mum was depressed for a while and she'd struggled with anxiety, but also self-esteem, just by feeling stupid, feeling that she's a weak person.
3:40
And I remember I had just started high school, so this was about in just the early 80s, and the English teacher took us to the library.
3:49
And I don't think I'd ever been in a library that I could remember.
3:53
before.
3:54
And this might sound a bit corny, a bit woo-woo, but a book fell off the shelf.
3:59
Maybe I bumped it in my bag or something.

You know what I'm saying? So I'm flipping that bitch from white with the blue pearl, you know, I got 50 of them chrome, 50 of them, you know what I'm saying, flip to the white.
30:40
So I'm spinning on them through the s- you know, through the city.
30:42
But me and my nigga Real, man, shout out to my nigga Real, bro.
30:46
We was, uh, hanging out, and they had bust my window and tried to take my sounds and shit.
30:52
So I had, um, went and, uh, got the window fixed.
30:56
But they used to have a little chronic spot, man, in Pocket Hood on, uh, off Nord.
speaker_14SOUNDBITE_SPEAKER
35:07
Mm.
