Yeah, because, so he's, what did they say, he was molting or shedding? Is that similar to a cat where they, in winter they have lots of fur, then in summer they don't? Is that, what do you attribute to that? What's the equivalent for the elephant whale?

So they, so I'm not sure that he's, I don't think he's molting at the moment.

I think he usually molts in early summer, but he does, they do this thing called a, It's called a catastrophic malt, actually.

And they come out and they actually shed all of their hair and the upper layers of their skin all at the same time.

So it all comes off in one go.

And so over that time, they have to be on land because that process is really quite energetically demanding.

And also they have a lot of blood that comes to the surface because I guess they've got to do a lot of healing.
