Um, and And did you, I think you said you and your brother were kept separate while you were in the prison, but it was the same location or
33:33
separate? That was the county jail where we were separated, but then we were in the same cell for a while.
33:41
In prison, we went to prison the same day.
33:44
So January 26th, 2001, we go to prison.
33:56
We were there in the same quarantine dorm for like three days, and then we went to other dorms in the prison.
34:07
But then we were transferred the same day, so I got to see my brother get into a prison van and take off.

long.
28:11
Wow.
28:12
And we had to roll him back over, and we had to put the sheet over him, and his body laid there for four hours before the coroner came in and took him away.
28:26
And do you think they provided us any counseling, anybody to talk to? Do you think they gave us a couple of days off for work? No, we had to be in the next day and act like nothing happened.
28:39
And that's why I'm real adamant about talking about the need for medical furloughs and geriatric parole, because we have too many people that are elderly in prison-
33:07
Mm-hmm.
33:08
And I just felt so at home.
33:10
You know, I talked to the, um, the usher.
33:13
I was like, "Hey, is anybody here from the prison ministry?" There's like, "No one from the men's prison ministry, but there's somebody from the women's prison ministry." So she takes me up, I'm introduced to her.
