... into your belt until eventually you can, you know, stop living that dual Batman a- and Bruce Wayne life where you're waiting tables during the day and you're doing theater at night.

Like there did, there did come a point where I was able to like s- you know, hit the gas and then allow myself to finally fall into a life in the arts.

Is it an ideal life in the arts? No.

Like I came to New York to be an actor.

I studied acting my whole life.

But when I realized that the wind is gonna kinda blow me wherever it's gonna blow me, I started putting on more hats and allowed myself to be pushed into whatever direction things were happening.

Yeah, so is everybody here, [laughs] so.

Yeah, you know, my journey was just as disparaging as anyone's.

I got lucky as the years went on.

I've had a lot of luck along the way, but nowhere near as much luck as I need.

So, you know, at the beginning of my career, I graduated NYU and I had made a short film called Ground Level B.

And I produced it and I starred in it.

And the guy who wrote it and directed it is this guy named Andres Hines.
