Um, gosh, where to begin? I mean, I think really the foundation for my professional career starts with, uh, me as a kid growing up in the Cheyenne Canyon area.

Cheyenne Canyon was my backyard.

Uh, my parents had a lot that was about almost an acre of land.

And so as a young kid, I got to start digging in the soil, building different things in the backyard, including a, uh, trail that served as a neighborhood connection.

As ironic as it sounds, uh, my parents' lot had a almost a corner lot where kids would shortcut through the yard to get to the grade school and the junior high, and that really began the opportunity to build a trail so the kids could safely come through the yard.

And over time, that just expanded on creating fun things in the yard, including a outdoor putting green, a tree house.
