Yeah.

And so one of the things that I tackled along with the city manager within a few months of taking office is reviewing that contract for service levels.

Are they performing where they need to? And and I knew some of the regional leadership because I operate hotels that utilized waste management.

And so we got them involved and basically came down to the the summation that they did not have the manpower necessary to support a city like they should.

um and so we decided that we would start looking at other options at that point and so what we did was we joined something called the hobble waste authority and that's a conglomerate of several cities in the greater birmingham area to include hoover mountain brook it's buying power yeah to increase our buying power and then we could put out an rfp a request for proposal uh, for what we are looking for specifically.

And then their power in numbers gets us the best, best pricing.

And, and in this particular case, Amwaste, uh, went out, uh, on the bidding there and they said, Hey, we're, we're buying new trucks.

Yeah, he probably didn't have much to lose, right? Yeah,

Can you speak to this budget in particular? Is there anything that jumps out at you Maybe a red flag or maybe a no, this is pretty status quo and there's nothing to see here kind of thing.

Yeah.

Their projections for what they're going to bring in for revenue.

You know, we had some significant year-over-year increases recently.

Because they were very conservative in their projections from 25 to 26.

And so we came in way ahead of where we were at.

So they try to stay fiscally conservative in their projections as far as what's coming up.

It was not Christian based necessarily.
