Um, tell us who you are.

Um, my name is David Burnett, uh, and I joined the Missin Tackle Shanty Group, who have been going for about 12 years, about four or five years ago.

Um, unfortunately, last month, um, I say unfortunately, you'll see why in a moment, um, our leader and presenter and commentator left us last month, and they said, "David, you can do that" And I'm not sure whether I can, so I'm on probation at the moment.

But, uh, I think the audience seem to enjoy it and, uh, I only told them one joke so, you know-

But so tell us a little bit about what is Missin Tackle in Brixham.

Well, it was, uh, a group that we set together after four or five guys were asked to go and sing in a play in Brixham Theatre, um, called, I believe, The Becoming.

I might have that wrong, but I think it's called The Becoming, which did a tour.

So we went all round Devon and Cornwall singing.
