... my different phases in my career from being a professional player to being a professional coach.

I myself came down with a challenging condition, physical condition.

I have MS and no longer am able to, to work in my profession, which I did for 30 years, and suddenly, boom, just like my professional career as a player ended, so did my professional career as a coach.

You know, I had to stop, and it wasn't planned, and I certainly didn't want to.

But I transitioned into something else where I could still feel that I had what to contribute.

I could still feel fulfilled by adding something to other people's lives or by helping to cure problems that perhaps they were confronted with.

Mm-hmm.

That's part of why we want to have you on, Fred, your perspective on this

team.

Very clearly, you know, when you take into consideration the fact that you're missing two significant offensive players, Guys that can shoot the ball, guys that can create a shot, because when the playoffs come, you know, and you have the ability, particularly over a seven game course of seven game series, it's very, very difficult.

to create offense through elaborate schemes because you're being scouted and you're being challenged by your opponents who know what you're doing, who adjust themselves to different areas where they're going to attack you offensively and defensively.

And, you know, you make adjustments, but at the end of the day, you've got to get somebody that can get you a basket here or there or that can shoot the ball consistently or that has perhaps a more established inside gate or is a high-level rebounder or rim protector.

You know, these things, you know, they become very evident over the course of a series, less so than during the season.
