That being said, I can think kind of a central point of those ideas is that they are, a big undertaking and there's something that's going to take more than our lifetime potentially and maybe the torch needs to get passed to someone else to start or finish it but I'm curious what do you see yourself actually beginning sort of the physical undertakings of these projects or are you doing this more as a blueprint for hey this is an idea I'm putting it out there someone else can run with this

I'd like to do them.

That would be optimal.

And if I had the amounts of money that it would take, I would actually already be doing them.

The problem is that generally speaking, the people that come up with the idea of anything, good, bad, or indifferent, generally speaking, they don't really have the money to enact that.

And in some cases...

they go and chase down venture capital.

Well, sort of the nuclear family as opposed to extended family and the people purporting to espouse those values may actually be espousing a different set of values.

Um, I mean, David, what is it about Colac that, that stands out to you, that matters to you, uh, more than any other part of the country?

I think just the community, the community spirit.

It, it's...

Like I, we moved here since about '86.

Um, spent a, a fair chunk of my time in, in and around Colac, uh, prior to then, before I joined the army.

Um, and now obviously moved back here.

Um, it's just a, a good town, um, an eclectic town.

Um, but also in this community, what's it like when there's a fundraiser on, or you know that there's a community organization that needs a bit of a pump up? Is it a joint that'll come together for that?
