Hmm

... you know, a- and R&B records, you know.

I, I, I love R&B music too.

And, um, so we got, uh, exposed to a lot of stuff.

The, the fruit pickers used to come over and pick our oranges every season, you know, and we heard all that Jamaican melodies and stuff they'd sing in the trees.

And so we got...

We didn't really know we were getting, you know, at the time it just seemed like normal.

[laughs]

What is that combination feel like now for you this specific week?

Well, you know, it's pretty exciting, really.

I mean, I mean, I don't think we haven't spent a lot of our career looking back, you know, on things.

I mean, people always come up to you and say, hey, I saw you in 1979 at this point, you know, and you remember things, but we don't.

We've always, I think, tried to move forward and, you know, new music, you know, new tour.

So when this all started coming up, our international agent, Judy Seal, she actually reminded us.

She said, you know, it's going to be your 50th anniversary.
