So two-time All-Star, start of the 25 season, was a struggle you get sent down when that happens and they have that conversation were you pissed did you get it where was your headspace when that happened
David BednarGUEST
i think every emotion you can possibly think of i went through you know i think uh coming off of a down year the year prior um obviously the big goal was to get right get back and then uh didn't start great and to get sent down and you know I think it's really just all about how you respond and I think I was really proud of myself throughout last year and how I was able to respond and I think it really just takes a village and I think I really exemplified that of just my wife, my family, my close friends and a lot of my coaches just always being in my corner and knowing what I'm capable of and also giving me that confidence of I know what I'm capable of and able to just kind of really build on that You know, I think you don't really know what you're made of until you got kicked in the teeth and able to come back from that.
David BednarGUEST
I think, you know, last year, if you had told me that, That week or two when I was in Indy, that I'd be closing games for the Yankees in the playoffs.
David BednarGUEST
Probably the grit and just really just putting my head down and grinding through it and building that confidence.
