But it's really just sort of like, "Oh, I wanna just be part of this.

I wanna be part of this historical moment and add my voice, you know, to the conversation visually." And honestly, it's a little bit odd because the political, sort of the commemorative ones that I did, for example, George Floyd or John Lewis or Ruth Bader Ginsburg or AOC, that I put up, were really responsive.

They weren't part of my art practice at all.

I don't, I don't consider portraiture to be part of my art practice at all.

I had been putting things up.

There's a claw image that I'd been putting up for a while before that.

It's crazy to me that a school could stop the foundational parts, you know? It's crazy.
