How do we discern this? And does God speak on this kind of global level? And who has accountability? Where is the accountability? And then what do we do when someone is found to be doing the wrong thing? So I think in our conversation, Dave, for you having so much experience in this area and seeing so much, I do think we have to come back to, well, what is a healthy prophetic ministry anyway? What is a healthy prophetic ministry?

Yeah.

I mean, I love the thought of, The largest chunk of prophetic expression that we see in the New Testament is actually found in the last book, the book of Revelation, which John, you know, that would be 20-something chapters of, you know, what we would call New Covenant prophetic expression.

And I love the way John starts.

He obviously says that, so, you know, Revelation 1, 1 says, the whole this whole prophetic book is the revelation of jesus christ and i think that i think that you don't want to move on from that that foundation point when it comes to the prophetic you ultimately and you talk about false prophets or false prophecy or bad practice and all the rest At the end of the day, I just think the macro goal of the prophetic is the true revelation of Jesus Christ, this Christocentric reality.

And a couple of scriptures later, it's in Revelation 1.5, John says, and from Jesus, who is the faithful witness.

This comment about the faithful witness, I think that prophetic ministry and every other expression, pastoral, apostolic, evangelist, all the rest, The goal of it is the faithful witness of Christ.

And if you have the gift of prophecy, exercise it, but not at the expense of walking in the Spirit yourself.
