Catherine EganHOST
David, what are some of the key nutritional areas that farmers should be thinking about at the minute?

David ArgueGUEST
So I suppose, look, when we talk about nutrition, we're talking about feeding animals so that they can perform to the best of their ability in terms of, we'd say, milk production from a cow point of view, putting on live weight from a store or wheeling point of view, and then putting on as much carcass weight as possible from a beef point of view.

David ArgueGUEST
So in these cases, we're talking about, you know, grass quality, silage quality and what meals we need to feed these different groups of animals.

David ArgueGUEST
So when we look at different rations, such as our finishing or our growing ration, the main ingredients we need to look at are, we'll say, high energy or high protein ingredients.

David ArgueGUEST
So we'll say the high energy rations are obviously associated with finishing animals.

David ArgueGUEST
And the higher protein ingredients are obviously associated with milk production and young animals that are growing.

David, just to wrap up, what are the main things that farmers can see or learn about and get involved with when they come to visit the stand?
