Um, uh, uh, what were the strengths and maybe what are the limitations as we t- look at the conclusions from this study?
7:08
I mean, I think, uh, this is a, is a strong study.
7:12
It definitely, you know, adds to our picture and our understanding of, um, cardio-oncology, which is, uh, this area that we're, we're very interested in.
7:22
There are some nice, as you were alluding to, some nice clinical take-home messages which are applicable to our care of patients.
7:31
Um, a-and just the, the size of the overlap, you know, tells us that, you know, we're working in separate silos.
7:38
Our heart failure nurses are busy looking after heart failure patients, and our cancer nurses are busy looking after cancer patients.
7:45
But what this study shows us is that a, a substantial proportion of, of patients, uh, have these two comorbid conditions at the same time, and maybe we need to think about that clinically to make sure that we are picking up cancers in heart failure patients, and we're not missing heart failure in cancer patients, and that we are optimally caring for, uh, this patient population.
11:43
What do we need going forwards? What would be the perfect study to design and deliver to answer this question of does heart failure increase the risk of cancer? What w- what, what are you looking for?
