Enjoy David's presentation and I'll see you after.
2:24
academia and the national security state.
2:32
In this presentation, I trace a century of corruption of U.S. academia from its reliance on Wall Street and foundation funding through the militarization of scientific research during and after World War II, the academy's deep embeddedness in the U.S. national security state that emerged in the late 1940s up to the present day.
2:54
My thesis is that academia in the United States and elsewhere has betrayed its civic duty and the public trust invested in it by becoming an embedded mercenary force serving the interests of the establishment.
3:10
By the mid-1930s, all the most prestigious universities in the United States had fallen under the control of Wall Street.
3:18
As the former Emeritus Professor of International Political Economy, Kees van der Peel observes, Harvard, with the largest endowment at the time, had a J.P. Morgan management.
3:31
Its largest donor was Standard Oil, including its key owner families, the Whitney's, Harkness's and Rockefeller's.

42:26
Conclusion.
9:50
So what is omni war exactly, David?
9:54
Yeah.
9:54
So this is a term in the context of global political economy.
9:57
It is a term that I coined back in 2022, um, and I explain it in chapter one of my COVID book.
10:06
Um, it's to describe the nature of the war that is currently being waged against humanity with a view to bringing in global technocracy.
10:16
So what I've done, um, and this is a kind of academic side of it really, is to re-theorize the nature of war.
10:23
Um, my contention is that the nature of war has fundamentally changed, um, and that it's become particularly evident since 2020 that what we are dealing with here is no longer primarily the old-fashioned concept of war, standing armies, wars between nation states, fighter jets, bullets and bombs.

1 HR 54 MINS LATER

125:12
Mm-hmm
0:00
Well, hello Ireland, and thank you for this invitation to speak today and to take part in this uplifting celebration of Irish culture and indeed human freedom.
0:12
For those of you who don't know me, my name is David A. Hughes, and I'm a former academic who quit the profession in 2024 to speak truth to power regarding developments since COVID.
0:25
I've tried to make sense of those developments in two books.
0:29
COVID-19 Psychological Operations and the War for Technocracy, Wall Street, the Nazis and the Crimes of the Deep State, as well as a 22,000 word report that I wrote for Solari.
0:43
I'll be selling signed copies later for anyone who's interested.
0:50
But in this talk, I want to summarize some of the key points from those publications and to consider some more recent developments.
34:27
Yeah.
34:28
Yeah, so this is chapter one of the book, and this is my kind of bigger picture explanation of what's been going on in terms of global political economy.
34:39
The fundamental idea is that the existing paradigms of control have been breaking down.
34:48
The propaganda system, as we've been discussing, has grown less effective as more and more people start to understand what it is.
34:56
The neoliberal economic system, which has generated inequalities for decades, produced mass protests all over the world in 2019, just before COVID.
35:07
One in five countries, major demonstrations.
35:09
You know, remember Hong Kong, remember the yellow vests, etc.

22 MINS LATER

57:36
And that was in about 1998.
5:30
their access to their bank accounts, like in Canada.
5:34
Yes, exactly.
5:35
Yeah, the response to the trucker's convoy.
5:38
So they do all of these things to try and make sure that people don't understand the scale of the resistance to intimidate people into not resisting.
5:50
But we have the power.
5:52
in all of this.
5:54
We have the power, because how can a tiny minority of global technocrats control 8 billion people? And so much of it is reliant on psychological means and trickery.

24 MINS LATER

30:15
David, what are your comments to my list here?
11:44
Yeah.
11:45
So you can see how important the mainstream media is in controlling that flow of information so that the public doesn't find out.
11:52
But we're in a similar position today, I think.
11:54
It's, it's actually quite a precarious position, in my opinion, for the transnational ruling class that are, that are, um, pulling off these operations through the transnational deep state, because more and more people are now starting to get wise to what's going on.
12:09
And events like 9/11 and COVID leave so much evidence, they're on such a scale that, um, more and more people are starting to see this now.
12:18
So one of the reasons that I wrote both of these books was to kind of dig deeper into this and show that these kinds of events, these kinds of behaviors by bad actors don't come out of nowhere.
12:28
There's at least a 100-year history here that we can explore and, and map, and once you see the bigger picture, um, it's, it's highly, highly disturbing, uh, because you realize that, um, you know, governments are not really acting on behalf of the people, um, not, not on issues like this.
17:38
And I think that's, that's one of the concerns because once you get the first shock, whether it's 9/11, COVID, whether it's learning about the, the Nazis or IBM, once you get that first shock, then I think it takes you into a different space where you, you lose trust in the people that you had trusted, and then you can start to, to, to, uh, to perceive events around the world w- from different perspectives.
26:11
Can you please explain that?
26:12
Yes, there are several aspects to this, and this is my attack on the green agenda today based on knowledge of the Nazi past.
26:23
So let's begin with thinking about land grabs.
26:27
So everyone is familiar with the Nazi concept of Lebensraum, living space, and we know that that was all about imperialism.
26:34
But originally, as it emerged in Nazi Germany, it was linked to good things like organic land use planning and sustainability.
26:45
But as critics have written, over time, it came to provide what one critic calls green camouflage for the colonization of Eastern Europe.
26:55
In other words, this kind of green rhetoric that the Nazis used, and they were really the first to kind of tie politics with ecologism and the whole kind of blood and soil idea, etc.

23 MINS LATER

50:15
Can you tell us about that?
2:03
Please enlighten us to, uh, how these subjects fit together and how that relates to what you call intelligence crime, the name of the chapter.
2:15
Right.
2:16
So the concept of intelligence crime, first of all, um, was, uh, coined by a scholar called Willem de Lint in 2021.
2:27
Um, he defines intelligence crime as crime committed by, uh, dark actors operating in the highest echelons of power, who furtively manipulate national security apparatuses to advance agendas that benefit themselves, while, if required, inflicting near unimaginable harm on others.
2:51
Um, and so what's important, and what I try to draw out in this chapter, I mean, last time round we discussed Gladio, but actually this deep state structure has been at the heart of US foreign policy since the late 1940s at least.
3:06
And US foreign policy since then has in many ways just been a catalog of war crimes and atrocities that have been masked by various forms of propaganda and exceptionalist narratives.
3:24
And the scale of these atrocities is so great, it's almost impossible to, for any ordinary person to, to conceive of, or the fact that the public has just been lied to about the true purposes of, of US foreign policy.

20 MINS LATER

23:31
You write that, uh, quotation mark, uh, "The so-called COVID-19 pandemic," quotation mark ending, "bears all the hallmarks of intelligence, uh, crime." Please explain, David, what makes this an intelligence crime.
10:23
David, can you please elaborate on what this dual state actually is? Is it the same as the deep state?
10:33
Yeah, I mean, in many ways, Morgenthau here.
10:35
So we're referring to the international relations scholar Hans Morgenthau as opposed to the politician Henry Morgenthau, just to be clear about this.
10:42
And the reason I cite him is he's one of the earliest authors that I know of to start using this language.
10:48
And as you say, this was 1955 in the context of the Red Scare.
10:53
So he used the term dual state.
10:56
But I mean, various terms have been described, have been used to describe essentially the same kind of entity and processes that we saw emerging, particularly around the middle years of the 20th century in the US.

17 MINS LATER

28:33
[coughs]
1:38
Did Wall Street really finance Hitler? Is this common knowledge, academia knowledge or scientific knowledge at all? If it is a real knowledge, a fact, then where's the most smoking gun in this?
1:56
Well, history is written by the winners.
1:58
So this is real knowledge, but it's largely buried knowledge.
2:04
And it's often been revealed by revisionist historians such as Charles Hyam, Anthony C. Sutton, and John Loftus, who have really had to go digging for this information.
2:18
So here's a quote from Anthony C. Sutton.
2:22
General Motors, Ford, General Electric, DuPont and the handful of US companies intimately involved with the development of Nazi Germany were, except for the Ford Motor Company, controlled by the Wall Street elite, the JP Morgan firm, the Rockefeller Chase Bank and, to a lesser extent, the Warburg Manhattan Bank.
2:43
So one of Sutton's points here is it's not kind of just the banking community in general in the United States that was exerting significant influence over Nazi Germany.

53 MINS LATER

55:34
It's just being repeated in a new way today.
27:47
Um, so, so, so these are the, um, similarities in 2000 and, uh, '20s to what actually took, uh, place in, uh, Nazi Germany and, uh, fascist, uh, Italy.
28:01
I mean, this is essentially about the, the production of ideological conformity, and we saw it in 1930s Nazi Germany, and we saw it again in 2020.
28:14
Um, the citizenry, the professions, the churches, the political left, the trade unions, all of it fell into line with the official COVID ideology and offered virtually no resistance.
28:30
Um, it's quite remarkable.
28:32
I mean, part of it involved the fear of being switched off or silenced in various ways from losing jobs or being censored or having businesses shut down or whatever.
28:40
You know, it's a very powerful disciplining, uh, device.
28:45
Um, and so when you think about it, um, scientists and academics and lawyers, they essentially all collaborated with the authoritarianism of the COVID years to push towards and help to implement a biosecurity state which will remove human rights and, and, and civil liberties.

14 MINS LATER

43:00
Can you really make that case that Roosevelt built the foundation for a fascist, uh, US hegemony?
3:54
So for people who do- don't know, uh, actually what you have, uh, written, what is the, the, the, the main, um, points of, uh, critique against Reiner Fuellmich, uh, being, uh, uh, an activist, uh, uh, freedom, uh, and libertarian activist?
4:13
Well, I, I wrote a four-part series on Fuellmich, um, not because I had set out to do so, but because somebody, um, had accidentally forwarded me, uh, the legal judgment against him.
4:27
Um, and of course, we're all curious, um, about the Corona Investigative Committee and what really went on there.
4:35
So I was curious to read the legal judgment against him, uh, which, uh, finds him guilty of embezzling €700,000.
4:44
And I read it with an open mind, um, but in my opinion, there is sufficient hard evidence in there.
4:51
For example, um, relating to flows of money and what money was spent on and used for, um, communications from Fuellmich himself to other members of the committee, um, uh, statements that he himself made in court.
5:10
I mean, this is all hard evidence that you can look at.

1 HR 3 MINS LATER

67:51
Uh, so, so you, you, you told me that there's, uh, s- some other, um, uh, comments from, uh, UK Column on, uh, the connection to Marcel, uh, Janke be- besides this int- this interview or this, uh, rant, uh, banter as they, uh, weekly banter as, uh, as they call it.
1:16
They're huge, I know.
1:18
Yes, so you talk about how people struggle to get their head around the idea that we might be facing a form of totalitarianism again today, and that has a lot to do with 20th century propaganda, that there was a very black-and-white distinction between the evil totalitarian regimes and the virtuous West.
1:42
Um, much of that, I think, goes back to President Truman and his famous 1947 address, uh, in which he drew, uh, very strict, um, divisions between the way things work in the United States and the way things work in the Soviet Union.
1:58
And so for many decades, Western populations have been conditioned to believe that they live in, um, countries which are fundamentally, uh, premised on freedom, uh, and democracy, and so on.
2:12
And so therefore, it comes as a great shock, particularly given everything that happened with COVID, when highly authoritarian measures were rolled out, and governments all across the world, including all Western governments, really revealed, uh, their, their true colors, to see that actually the situation is, is rather different from how we have been led to believe it to be.
2:41
So the main reason, I think, why it's hard for people to understand this i- is that the, the forms of totalitarianism that were witnessed in the 20th century were national stroke imperial.
2:58
What we're looking at today, however, is a global version of totalitarianism.
7:49
Yeah, yeah.
13:00
Maybe you could begin with, with camp one and camp two.
13:03
Sure.
13:04
Yeah, it sounds as though we've been on a, a similar journey.
13:07
Um, I've been in this space, as I say, for approximately two years now.
13:11
Um, and my experience has been very much as you describe, uh, that it isn't what it seems.
13:16
So my three camps of awareness framework is an attempt to, to make sense of this.
13:21
So camp one, um, is for the normies, the ordinary people who essentially believe whatever they hear on the television and the radio and the so-called news.

34 MINS LATER

47:16
Uh, so tell us, how did you start to become suspicious of, of him, and, and, uh, what did you find?
speaker_2UNKNOWN
36:35
Hmm.
36:36
30,000 euros a month for an email answering service.
36:41
And Viviana Fischer claims not to have known anything about this.
36:45
I mean, I find that staggering, um, how that could be the case.
36:50
But when you add that up, uh, for a 19-month period, you've got 570,000 euros.
36:57
So 700,000 for the embezzlement, 570,000 for the email answering, uh, service.
37:04
So Fuellmich has tried taking their at least 1.27 million euros, and that's just what we know about because we haven't seen, uh, his accounts or those of the Corona Investigative Committee.

9 MINS LATER

46:02
Mm-hmm.
