When I started there, my office was next to Mary Barnhart, who was the bookkeeper.

And every Friday I would hear her moan, trying to decide which bills to pay and which bills to defer.

But as Larry mentioned, the cooperative agreement and the funds that came with it from the Park Service really helped turn things around.

And then also, you may not remember, but direct mail programs were relatively new at that time.
