Uh, Dave, do you wanna give us a, a rundown of what's happening? And then Andrew, maybe you could come in on the, the economic aspects of it.

Well, I think that the thing that caught everybody by surprise was, uh, following a telephone call with President Putin, uh, President Trump announced that w- [clears throat] the United States would, uh, buy 300,000 tons, uh, of, uh, of oil, and that that's about two and a quarter million barrels, and then increase that to 500,000 in November and a million after that.

And I think that caught everybody by surprise.

And, uh, so, you know, coincidentally, uh, Ukraine is, uh, providing air attacks on refineries like nobody's business.

I mean, they're, they're really being effective.

And so right at the point where they're being effective, President Trump decides to, to, uh, to buy oil.

And, uh, you know, he, he, he, he said that he was doing that in order to, uh, to help, uh, farmers and truckers and people in the energy, uh, business.
