So when your conversations are with the residents, what are their concerns? What are you hearing from them?

Yeah, so stupidly, I haven't been knocking on doors yet.

But I've been asking people, you know, their thoughts about the local political scene for years now.

I wasn't necessarily campaigning, but I've been going to council meetings.

going to Committee of the Whole for a very long time.

So how can we make sure that we maintain the character of our rural communities?

Could you say what you mean by that? And what's the danger in each case?

Yeah.

Wow.

There's a lot of different angles to that because in part of the book, I take it a step further and suggest that, you know, perhaps we shouldn't have leaders or at least that the shape of power shouldn't be pointy with a single leader at the top.

So, I mean, I think the most general answer to that would be that we embrace a hero culture.

Mm-hmm.
