Yeah.

It had, uh, the opposite.

You know, it, it didn't really do much for the preservation.

They have a small information plaque there.

My initial approach to them was, "Look, you know, you're obviously aware of the significance of this aircraft.

What can be done to preserve this?" And they were very much aware of the fact that in their eyes, a wealthy aviation collector in England wanted to take away their aircraft.

I said, "Well, I can assure you that that person is not wealthy and is not trying to take the air-- you know, they are interested also in preservation.

And while we're talking about your work, where can listeners find out more about Arctic Alive and the historical expeditions you organize?

Um, and, you know, we thought that, uh, saxophone and guitar was the right instrumentation for what we wanted to do and-

I mean, r- like Reid said, it's, it's just for us it was, when we decided to continue it was, it was really exciting because, you know, we had always challenged the notion of a leaderless band with a piano trio, and that, that, that, that sort of iconic stature of the piano trio.

People always think about the piano as the leader.

... and not actually on it.

You know, sometimes we like to mess with that.

You know, in today's sort of like hyper-grid society of modern jazz, where it's all kind of like it's, it's super complex and it can be all these things, you know, sometimes we, we feel like maybe making sure that the mysterious element of-

And after seeing these movies and these guys get together, they regroup, been regrouping.
