You know, like you mentioned, the Psalms, there's this whole category of, you'll see the lament Psalms, like Psalm 13, Psalm 42.
32:43
The category of lament gives us permission.
32:48
It's God giving us permission in his inspired word to pour out our burdens towards him because he already knows them, you know? And it's a beautiful thing.
33:03
When I was working through my dad's diagnosis and his dementia and things and helping him, this was something that helped me tremendously.
33:17
um realizing that i can pour out you know scripture is clear about this to you know that we're supposed to cast our first peter five we're supposed to cast our cares on the lord because he cares for us but the category of lament takes that to another level if you will because know when you're going through sadness and discouragement and grief and those things you you need to know that your god sees it that he cares for you and this is what these um you know laments do in the psalms is they give us permission from god who authored the scriptures who created us to pour out our you know pain our grief our sadness the most intimate things that we go through in life to him and um he cares for us you know um you know jesus i mentioned jesus wept you know uh john 11 uh yeah john 11 35 he's at lazarus tomb and he wept even though that he knew that he was going to raise him you know let me just read that john 11 33-36 when jesus saw her weeping and the jews who had come with her also weeping he was deeply moved in his spirit and greatly troubled so he was greatly troubled you know he cares and he said wherever you laid him then they said lord come and see and jesus wept so the jews said see how he loved him so he cares and over and over again in the gospels it's not just this story you could look at the woman caught in adultery you know the woman about to be stoned john uh well the the woman caught in adultery john 4 uh the woman who was going to get stoned john 8 and you could look at you know all these people and you see how jesus cares you know for people he cares about them Not just because they can do something for him, not like many people today think, oh, if you do something for me, I'll do it for you.
35:35
But Jesus is just doing it because he cares about the people he made in his image and likeness, and he longs to see them for it, as that great hymn says, for it to be well with them.

okay
17:13
He's a Republican who will tell you that the people calling themselves conservative today aren't acting like conservatives at all.
17:22
Conservatism as it's supposed to be, if you [clears throat] go back and you look at Edmund Burke and Teddy Roosevelt and Russell Kirk, a lot of different folks from the past, it is essentially about conservation.
17:38
Conserve, you know, is the root word for conservation and conserve is the root word for conservative.
17:43
Uh, Ronald Reagan said, um, he said, "This is our patrimony," talking about the environment.
17:49
He said, "This is what we leave our children, and our great moral responsibility is to leave it to them either as we found it or better than we found it." To me, that is the conservative ethos.
18:02
And so when I'm speaking to groups out west and they get skepticism about, uh, our federal public lands, I just simply ask the question, "Well, why do you live here instead of New York City?" I mean, your whole lifestyle, whether you hunt, fish, ATV, graze, whatever your thing is- You are there because of the vast landscapes and the, the, the environment that makes you feel comfortable and that you enjoy.
18:30
If you don't favor federal public lands, I mean, look at what happened in Idaho when, uh, some of these Texas billionaires bought up a bunch of, uh, timberland.
58:40
And he greeted the churches, Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ.
58:47
Yeah.
58:48
So, and then try to go try to tell the original 12 that...
58:57
They weren't commissioned and called by Jesus himself.
59:02
In fact, go tell Jesus then, I guess.
59:05
I guess that's what we're saying at this point is go tell Jesus that the 12 weren't really apostles and Paul wasn't really an apostle.
59:13
that Paul didn't really see.

Those are the two main things I would say.
14:31
It then runs a check on all the applications coming through and kind of pushes the ones that are most relevant to the top, right? Yeah.
14:37
Well, yes.
14:38
And actually, I realise I skipped over your last question.
14:40
It was like, why have we made these changes that we've made? And I'll answer in the second question.
14:48
But the reason we made the changes that we did is mostly market conditions.
14:55
We've been through times where there is... surplus of jobs the surplus of candidates and everything kind of changes moves very very quickly AI has had a huge impact in terms of the quality of the tech that we're producing it enabled us to to pass CVs much quicker and much easier than what we have done before so that opened up More opportunities to us, you know, more of the things of what could it do this and could it do that and could it do this? So even like the idea of being able to have a search on on on applications coming in made it much easier.
15:33
Yeah, because we're extracting that information now.
19:35
Yeah.
