And did you guys continue to work with each other from there? Did, was it like you guys just worked with each other then, and then you guys went and did other things?
13:52
I opened up a couple other Italian bistros with that team, but, um, I took- So I stayed with that group after college, um, with the understanding we would partner in a business.
14:03
And the Landmark Americana in Glassboro was that first business.
14:06
I'd identified that site as a location.
14:09
Um, it was a cl- it was formerly The Franklin House.
14:11
It was a storied building.
14:13
It had been there for over 200 years.

25:48
So what were you guys waiting for? Was it, like, trying to find a location or just trying to, like, dial it into a point where you guys felt confident?
12:20
So, Dave, can you give us a quick explainer about what the bond market is and what's contributing to this global sell-off?
12:27
Yeah, we'll see how easy this explanation is.
12:29
So I brought in a scale.
12:30
I got some props for you today.
12:32
Think of the bond market like a scale, OK? So when you lend money to the government, you're going to want to return on that investment.
12:41
And that's what we call the yield.
12:43
So the price of the bond we're going to be representing here with this scale here and the yield is the other side of that scale.
14:17
Okay, so for, again, targeting the normal people here who now understand what the bond market is and why yields and prices go in opposite directions, what kind of problems could what we're seeing pose for people at home and their money?
16:46
So we're more likely to stick around this area of this new normal that we've been seeing these past couple of weeks and months.
16:53
Yeah, I mean, the oil price that we're seeing today, around $80 a barrel, is the lowest that we saw since the beginning of the war.
17:02
Now, notice that it's not $65 or 66 or 67, which is what we were paying before the war started.
17:11
So there's still what we call a risk premium in the market, and that is the oil market telling us, "Well, okay, we're not 100% sure that this is back to normal." And all this is is a 60-day memorandum of understanding basically saying, "These are a page and a half of talking points.
17:30
We kinda agree on all of this, and if you do this and we do that, then we can continue to talk and then eventually get to a peace deal." But it's very, very complicated.
17:40
We're talking about, you know, denuclearizing Iran and sensitive things like, you know, freeing up money to rebuild the country and, you know, which I know the Trump administration has been particularly sensitive about.
17:51
So, so the oil market is right to be skeptical.
