Gillespie sat down with Canoe FM recently to talk about how the production company's rental of the preserve will have long reaching impacts.

We've been here for almost 50 years and we primarily functioned as a recreation and competitive kayak canoe site for members and for guests and people coming into the sport and people who travel around the world.

So we're in the last few years, we're being recognized for providing other services.

And one of those services is property, acreage, privacy, access to a river, beautiful natural surroundings.

So we've reached out to or sorry, the film industry has reached out to us a couple of times over the years to see Could this work for them? And in this current or this recent project, we've had a film company say they're very interested in being up here.

So their staff are very professional.

I've met Many of them and of their specialized staff, they're probably the best in the business.

He added he understands the frustration of road delays that come with the filming taking place, but his goal is to be open to new opportunities to ensure there's a bright future for the preserve and all who come to enjoy it.

It's Strings Attached here live in the studio on 91.3 KSVY.

I rode 16 wheels all the way, 16 nights and lonely days.

I'm going back.

I wish I never came.

Well, I'm going someplace where they never say your name.

Well, you kept me up all night with your coke and gin Left me next morning and turned me in and that's evil Baby, you're no good Well, I'd forget you, baby If I could Well, you show me the well, but you don't let me drink.

You threw my heart right in just to watch it sink, and it went down.
