7:05
Right.
7:05
Where we're trying to get to is medicines to every patient across the globe that can benefit from it.
7:11
What that means is that we've got to be thinking about not just how do we have a successful clinical trial, but how does that trial then translate into the real world? What are the things that make a difference in the real world? Well, if we're going to use diagnostic testing and approaches, it can't just be something that's good for the trial.
7:25
We need to think about decentralized.
7:27
How are we going to deliver that test in China, Japan, Europe, the US, Latin America? So that work that's happening today where the scientists and the clinicians are working together with the business teams to identify how can we design the diagnostic work so that it's just seamless.
7:45
It moves from approval into delivery.
7:47
Same thing with endpoints, same things with evidence that we're generating for the dossiers that we put together for payers.
9:13
Right.
12:13
When you're talking to customers, is the concept of tokenomics Yeah,
12:20
so right now, this is huge.
12:22
We're actually, and Sarah Amalka, who works for me, SVP, her and the team are putting together a whole education series and approach and an offering capability around FinOps and tokenization.
12:36
This is actually going to be a potential opportunity slowdown or stall for many organizations because all of a sudden if you know there were other reasons why they were organizations were concerned about AI i.e. governance and so forth however escalating costs have always been like that's something that comes up time and time again and now the tokenization of that and it's all about predictability right so and so it's this cross between being able to measure ROI and And am I getting the right level of ROI out for that? And then now can I predictably determine what the costs are going to be so I can determine whether or not that ROI matches, right? So I think that that's going to, like, look, our first step will be building out and making sure their clients understand and are educated about it.
13:28
It's coming out fast.
13:30
I was in a session with the HPE and Microsoft just now.
13:34
And Azure Local, it's an interesting value proposition around that because the fact that, okay, you're not going to be tied to a tokenization situation.
14:28
Do you think that HPE has kind of found its own identity at this point?

1:02
it.
1:03
Here we go.
1:04
All right.
1:06
So my name is Dave Fredrickson.
1:06
I'm a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
1:08
And I'd like to start out with what I like to call a set-aside prayer, if you'll bear with me.
1:19
Father God, I ask you that you would fill me with the Holy Spirit to guide my thoughts, my words, and my deeds.

51 MINS LATER

And he's still

0:26
I don't know if I can keep it up.
0:27
Yeah, there we go.
0:30
A little technical difficulties.
0:32
My name is Dave Fredrickson.
0:33
I'm a grateful member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
0:36
And by God's grace, I've been sober since December 5th, 1981.
0:40
And for that, I'm eternally grateful.

16 MINS LATER

17:06
Hmm.
1:46
As you mentioned, some of these new trends that you're seeing and some of the new ways that we are going to fight cancer effectively here in the U.S., how much of that is coming from finding new indications for existing drugs versus creating entirely new medicines?
2:00
Yeah, super question.
2:01
So last year, the unit had 25 plus billion in sales.
2:05
We were able to do that with six multi blockbuster oncology medicines and many of those growing in double digits and indeed high double digits.
2:15
And the way that we're able to do that is by investing in making sure that we go every single area of unmet need where we believe that these medicines can really make a difference.
2:25
Here at this year's ASCO, one of the things that we're most proud of is the advancements that we're making with our immuno-oncology agents in Finzi and in Judo.
2:33
These are two agents that are designed to harness the immune system so that the immune system can combat cancer.
3:21
And as technology is advancing and AI is contributing here as well, and companies like AstraZeneca focusing on trying to get in earlier, do you view that as where the biggest opportunity lies in terms of growth over the next decade?
