if you use 60 pounds for 10 reps this week, and you try an 11th rep, even if you don't get it, next week your body's gonna have compensated for that extra effort, and viewed it as kind of a threat and said to itself, "You know what? That, that was, that was stressful.
26:06
That was a strain on these muscles.
26:08
Let's put a little tiny bit of extra muscle tissue on there just in case this person gets this bright idea again and tries it again." Lo and behold, next week you do 11 or 12 reps, and, and you move the weight up to 65.
26:23
And lo and behold, three months from now you're using 120 pounds, and you look back on your workout chart, and you can't believe you started with 60.
26:34
So i- if you've, if you've got everything dialed in correctly, you're, you're putting in a, a hard effort, a maximum effort preferably, you're giving yourself enough recovery time in between workouts, and you are nutritionally satisfying the, the requirements that you have, it doesn't matter if you're 20 or 70.
