How do you move the meedle- the needle on that in an inde- as an independent in Congress?

Sure.

I think that, uh, I think that things have gotten exasperated, especially in recent days, uh, uh, with the, uh, Obamacare subsidies being shuttered and the government shutdown last year.

I think that a lot of people are not just looking at, oh, without Obamacare your subsidies, uh, or your premiums are gonna double, triple, and quadruple.

I think a lot of people are thinking, "Why? Why without heavy taxpayer-funded subsidies to these for-profit healthcare corporations are my premiums going to increase so much?" At some point we have to think, would we be able to manage this in a more, uh, fiscally responsible way? Uh, and when you look at the numbers, uh, it's true that we are the most wasteful on our healthcare spending.

We s- pay more than any other developed nation on the face of this planet for healthcare, yet America still ranks 14th in quality, dead last in healthcare outcomes.

We have a lower life expectancy when compared to other nations, and there's folks that are waiting for, uh, critical healthcare all over the country.

What do you say to people listening in marginalized communities whose lives may be very negatively impacted by policy decisions made by one of the two parties, and who worry that you, as an independent, are a spoiler in what could be a very close election? What do you say to those people?

Um, often there is a ban, whether it's an E. coli ban or it's a, a nitrate ban because the levels are so high.

Uh, some of my volunteers recently went and tested the waters here.

Uh, so take the next minute and, and tell folks who either live in your district or who might know someone who's there, and maybe you wanna tell them why they should support your campaign, why you should be the next congressman of your district.
