Who gave you the toughest games, Darren, over the years? Is there anyone that stands out for you?

Obviously, Lee here was a fabulous man marker.

He kind of attacked more than defend.

He would just stand there and then he would go, making Jason no way up the field.

Obviously, Jason is a brilliant defender as well.

Very, very fast.

He probably won fastest players I ever marked.

What's the conversations like behind the scenes when dealing with a player like that? What's being said to the back line? What's being said going out? Is it go out, rough him up a bit, show him what senior and county football is like? What are those conversations like?

What fueled your confidence, Darren?

Probably talking that all, all week, you know.

In the last probably number of weeks that, you know, the amount of boys with medals, minors, under 20s, as you said, senior players.

Like, so, like we knew quietly going into the game that, you know, we have, we have good players as well.

Now, I know we haven't shown it throughout the league and the start of the championship but, listen, every team's out to be beaten.

And we knew if we could turn up, especially when we get to Croke Park, that we could put up a good fight.

And as I said, I said to the lads, "If we can get them to 60 minutes and it's tight, you know, they'll, they'll be there for the taking." And as I said, Kerry are a good side.
