Staying for a second on that metaphor of the sports arena.

In a way, we are taking these examples of sports because we are seeing that there is a yearning emptiness when it comes to actual moments of collectively coming together for a certain moment of experiencing something other than just individuality.

Not that you cannot be an individual within a group, but that you can engage into way more in the moment that the act of gathering becomes something that is formalized and designed with care and with a certain attention to detail.

And while temples and churches and all these former institutions do not have any meaning for us, these momentums in which institutions such as Arkdes are taking up exhibitions that allow subcultural groups to actually find a space where they can come together and find like-minded others is of extreme importance.

Running physically through a couple of translation moments of where this challenging brief was actually manifested into spatial form, I do think that it's important to say that in total, the exhibition is choreographed or channeled through three different architectural devices, through three different moments of user interactivity.
