What's been life like for Darcy Brown during that time? Did you get some time away? Has there been still a lot of focus on cricket? What have you been up to?

Yeah, well, I had probably while the World Cup was on, training just in case I had to get called over.

So I've been working a lot at SACA training.

with Mick Delaney and, um, Mark Eichler, um, helping me out with my bowling skills and fielding.

It's a bit tricky being in Adelaide when it's in the winter, it's pretty cold and wet.

So, um, workshopping around how to, how to train, um, while preparing to hope or maybe play if, if the opportunity came.

Um, but then, yeah, the last couple of weeks, um, I went away to Cairns with the Saka girls, um, for a preseason connection camp.

Tell us, was there a moment where you had to choose and how did cricket become your thing?

We are joined there by Darcy Brown, the executive director of TMASF Connects.

We are a transit management organization for 77 very tall office buildings downtown.

In San Francisco, when the buildings started to go up, the Mayor and supervisors got nervous that there was going to be traffic jams downtown like New York City.

So they passed a couple of ordinances that forces the buildings to submit a transit management plan.

to the city of how they're going to get people in the building and how they're going to get them back out.

And so instead of doing it on an individual building by building basis, they decided to create an association, which is what TMASF Connects is.

And so we do all of the required code paperwork and submissions to the city on behalf of the buildings who are our members.

In addition to submitting transit management plans, Brown says her organization supports its members every day in real time.
