A mentor is not a mentor if he or she does not tell the truth to the person they're walking with.

We have to tell the truth.

We're doing no one any one a favor if this whole thing about teaching the truth doesn't work its way into our lives.

But again, it comes in the voice and the tone of a father, of a friend.
