Of all of the stunts and trials moves you've done in your really long career, do any of them stand out where you were like, no way, that's impossible? And then you ended up sending it.

Danny MacAskillGUEST
I mean, the obvious one that stands out is this what I call the spiky fence.

Danny MacAskillGUEST
So it's a wrought iron fence that is in Edinburgh, up in Marchmont in Edinburgh.

Danny MacAskillGUEST
And This fence was something I used to ride past every day on my way to work in the bike shop, a bike shop called McDonald's Cycles.

Danny MacAskillGUEST
And I used to look at this fence and kind of imagine trying to ride along it.

Danny MacAskillGUEST
And it wasn't until I started working on a film around Edinburgh with my housemate at the time.

Simon StewartHOST
Tell me, like, on run number 400, right, when you finally made it across, what did that feel like?

You know, and even, yeah, so some, a little bit of braking does help, but front brake more than back, b- back brake, the tire's more likely to sli- slip off, I think.

Danny MacAskillGUEST
But front brake, um, you know, it allows you to kind of feel the obstacle a little bit and getting bogged down in the details.

Danny MacAskillGUEST
Of course, you can also take the legs off a little bit, but, um, you know, I, I quite like to try to do it with trying to keep my feet on the pedals.

Danny MacAskillGUEST
For me, I feel like when I keep my feet on the pedals, it's, like, done to the best of my abilities.

Danny MacAskillGUEST
it may as well be a submarine at times, you know? Um, but I was tempted to do it on the trials bike.
