What was that season like, um, for you and your wife? What, what challenges came up through that, and then how did you overcome those challenges?

That's a great question.

Um, and I love that you were chatting with your wife about this 'cause I think the nurses, they, they have the front row seat, you know, to what we are navigating.

And first I just, I wanna say thank you to all of the healthcare professionals that are there, um, as you're navigating, whether it's something you find out at birth or in our case, you know, something when, you know, my wife was about 20 weeks pregnant.

And I think for us, and I can't remember if we chatted about this last time, but I think my wife and I, we were We were uniquely prepared to sort of navigate this news because we had gone through a really difficult situation a few months prior- Mm ... um, with, uh, our niece, who was born on New Year's Day, and unfortunately about eight days later passed away.

Um, and my wife and I had gone out to London for the, the birth of our niece, and it was an undiagnosed heart condition and all these things.

I think we may have chatted about that last time.

Mm.

So what was your childhood like growing up? Yeah, I

think my story is similar, unfortunately, to a lot of people's stories, you know, of probably the last 40 years.

You know, I grew up, I don't want to call it a broken home because that just sounds so extreme.

But, you know, my parents separated when I was about three years old and, you know, my mom remarried, my dad remarried.

And so...

My childhood was filled with a lot of inconsistency.

I would describe it to be that way.

How has that impacted you in your fatherhood?
