Yeah, just, uh, same.

Uh, recently...

Well, I'm in Romans 5 now, but at, in the recent past I've got to the passage at the end of chapter one, homosexuality.

Um, but I'm finding now, a- at least in this, in, in our little bubble of the, or l- our little twig of the branch of the vine, uh, the whole idea of Christian nationalism is, is huge with, uh, especially young men.

And uh, I just saw a clip this, uh, a buddy of mine sent me a clip this morning that he was responding to a clip, uh, by, I don't know, it must've been a 22-year-old kid, uh, ranting and raving about how the Jews are controlling the world and so forth.

So I, now that I'm in Romans, uh, and I can't wait to get to Romans 9, 10, 11, but already Paul is addressing this issue of circumcision of the heart versus the flesh and so forth.

Learn from your mistakes, but start preparing for what's next, 'cause Sunday's coming.

And I would say it like this.

Preacher, your job is not to create a message.

Your job is to receive a message.

Not to create a message.

Now, we study, we write sermons, but your job isn't to create a novel message.

Your job is to receive from God a message that you then convey as a servant, and that's it.

And I'm going to get out of the way and let you hear and learn from Danny Hyde.

So I want to start by saying there can be no value in expository preaching.
