What were your first memories of alcohol growing up?

It was smoky pubs in working-class Blackpool with my dad and his mates or family as well, me and my sister, and just pints everywhere, dartboards, the usual pub setting.

But we spent a lot of our weekends in these places, working men's clubs because my dad did like beer.

My mum was quite the opposite.

My mum has like a white wine spritzer at Christmas and that's her quota done.

So it's very opposite.

But I guess it was just a generational thing.

What was, I guess, kind of timelining with your sort of journey into music? Where were you sort of early 20s and how did that look? At
