So I would love if you could talk us through a little bit about your career and how you went from orthopedic surgery to where you are today.
0:58
Yeah, for sure.
1:00
So background is, as you mentioned, I'm an orthopedic surgeon.
1:03
Specifically, I practice shoulder and shoulder reconstruction in Vancouver, Canada.
1:08
And this journey started for me when I started practice in 2010.
1:12
And that was after doing two fellowships and then obviously a five-year residency.
1:17
And one of the things that started to become aware to me was when I started practice, first thing was it's a cliff that no one talks about.
3:15
So can you tell me a little bit more about what you designed and what you built?
8:22
I mean, I've been in some simulation centers going back 10 or 12 years ago myself, right? But what did you see from your end as the gap that precision OS needed to
8:33
solve? It's a really good question, Tom, and we've been thinking about it a long time.
8:38
And there's been some really... well-developed simulations on the platform or in the industry right now, really well-done ones.
8:48
And we always wondered why trainees never use them.
8:52
Simulation's been around for a long time.
8:55
And there's a psychological reason behind it.
9:00
There's also an investment reason behind it.

How does this work? How do residents and practicing surgeons actually use these simulations in preparation for real procedures? Can you take us a little deeper?
