But our vestibular system has all kinds of nuclei, and it's all kinds of connections inside our brain.

So it truly is our sense of balance, and it truly is intertwined with every aspect of our brain because it's extremely important to our bodies to keep our heads above ground and oriented.

Knowing where we are in space, knowing where we are relative to our own bodies is critical to our function, and our body knows that on a visceral level.
