So what's your story around growing up with money?

Yeah, so quite the opposite, which I know you know.

So picture me, eight years old, my heart's pounding in my chest, and I'm walking to my mom to ask her a question that will quite literally shape my entire life.

And I asked her to leave my dad.

And in that instant, her response is so etched in my soul that it solidified my money story because she said, honey, I would if I could, but I can't afford to care for you kids on my own.

And so in that instant, I made a decision that money equal choices, freedom, options, safety.

And it served me very well.

Mm-hmm.

Tell me a little bit about, you know, you and your journey and that identity shift and then all the women you work with, things that you see around that identity shift.

Yeah, so I'm going to share with you the identity shift that happened after the exit, okay? Because we started this with like you do the thing and you hit the mark and then you're like, okay, it's going to feel this way.

You create this story inside of your head, right? And I went through a severe identity crisis after the exit because I didn't know who I was.

not as a SaaS founder.

There was so much of my identity and so much of my self-worth that was wrapped up in that little silly title.

And really that title, what it was doing was keeping eight-year-old me safe because I had the choices.

I had the money.
