So with your experience, why do you think that divide continues to exist between the teacher, the loving, well-meaning teacher in the classroom and the parent who feels overwhelmed and under supported? How come we haven't been able
17:00
to make that happen? I think there's a couple reasons.
17:04
So first, I would say right now is time.
17:09
Time is a big barrier.
17:11
In my classroom, I had at one point 24 kids, 24 three to four-year-olds.
17:19
And building a connection with 24 families is very difficult, not impossible.
17:28
And each family I had a different relationship with, some stronger than others.
21:15
So what did you notice? Did you do any type of kind of A, B observation research with integrated public preschool programs versus privately run programs?
